None of the injuries were considered life-threatening. The hijackers have now left the Comoros-flagged Aris 13 which had been anchored off the Somali coast near the town of Alula. He was not able to provide more details on the conditions for the release of the vessel. It turns to an Amber Alert when a certain amount of time passes and we believe the thief would know that they have a four-year-old girl in the back of the vehicle and they have not dropped that child off or done something like that. The suspect in the theft remains at large. Almost two hours later, police got a report that the vehicle was spotted north of Mississauga, near the junction of Highways 401 and 403, being driven erratically. (more...)
