Giraffes are pregnant for 15 months, according to Animal Adventure Park . All this sounds innocent enough. The park blamed the removal on animal rights activists who oppose zoos. Giraffes are born after a 15-month gestation period. Once the calf is born, the zoo will hold a contest to name it. "It's insane", park owner Jordan Patch said of the attention. (more...)

Gen. Stephen Townsend said a Russian aircraft hit Syrian Arab Coalition fighters, thinking they were bombing Daesh positions in villages near al-Bab, north-east of Aleppo on Tuesday. It was a situation that US commanders have been trying to avoid since Russian Federation deployed dozens of aircraft to Syria in late 2015.
