For boys in 2016, that name was Kylo, which rose from 3,359 in 2015 to 901 past year. As widely expected, the Bank of England chose to keep interest rates on hold at 0.25%, but warned of a drop in living standards if the squeeze on wages continues. Wage growth will strengthen, it says, as the employment market tightens. The financial market instruments which the Bank of England uses to construct its economic forecasts have fully priced in an interest rate rise only in the final three months of 2019, nine months later than in the last set of forecasts in February.
