Paul Pogba leads resurgent Man United to big win over Bournemouth

Solskjaer has restored positivity to United, says Shaw

The first goal was created in fine style by Rashford and Solskjaer had plenty of praise for the 21-year-old England forward, saying: "I'm delighted for him because he's coming on and he'll be a top, top player". We managed the game much better than against Huddersfield.

"We needed the win and we had a great performance as well", Pogba told Sky Sports after his side's resounding victory over Eddie Howe's team. "It is just a reaction of all of the players and everyone is enjoying themselves", said Pogba.

Since Manchester United parted ways with Jose Mourinho and handed the manager's role to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on an interim basis, the results on the field have been drastic, with three wins from three matches. "That's how I celebrate my goals".

United have scored 12 goals in Solskjaer's three games and have generally impressed with attack-minded, free-flowing football.

It was not all positive for United on the afternoon, however, as Bailly received a straight red card in the 79th minute for a poor challenge on Fraser, which leaves Solskjaer light at the back as Chris Smalling is still on the sidelines.

Looking like a completely different team, United played with verve and vigour, and it wasn't long before Pogba's second goal came, this time heading the ball from Ander Herrera's cross.

And in his very first press conference upon his return to the club as caretaker manager, the 45-year old revealed he texted Sir Alex as soon as he got the call.

The France worldwide feels a lot has changed in the two weeks since the former striker was appointed until the end of the season, as they have adopted an attacking style which suits the players at their disposal.

The only negative for United was an apparent injury to Rashford and Bailly's rash tackle, which will earn the centre-back an automatic three-match ban. But in the last two, eight goals have been scored by the club and by six different players.

With less than five minutes on the clock, Rashford showed what he's capable of after producing a moment of magic as he bamboozled the Bournemouth defence with some stunning foot-work before setting up Paul Pogba with a pin-point cross to give the Frenchman the simple task of tapping home the opening goal.

Pogba then came inches away from completing a first hat trick at United when Begovic tipped his low strike against the post in the 77th.
