"John Wall Fined After Telling Coach Scott Brooks 'F--k You:" Report

NBA Rumors: Wizards Making John Wall, Bradley Beal Available For Trades

Star point guard John Wall has been fined by the Washington Wizards for cussing out coach Scott Brooks, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Enter Wall. The former Kentucky point guard can team up with fellow United Kingdom products Davis, Julius Randle, and Darius Miller.

Despite similar counting stats and Wall's name recognition, Beal may be the more attractive trade piece. Washington were previously hesitant to include Wall or Beal in discussions for players like Kawhi Leonard or Jimmy Butler, but given their recent struggles, it has become apparent that "it needs to start considering overtures for them". They also expressed unequivocally the arguments did not turn physical and that players hashed out their differences afterward and expressed regret for growing heated in the moment.

And that was before the team's two-game losing streak.

Washington is 5-11, with the second worst defensive rating in the National Basketball Association at 112.2 and a bottom-10 offensive rating to match - a numbers heavy way of saying they allow a lot of points without scoring very many. Washington is 5-11 and underachieving this season.

Well, things with the Wizards seem to being going just swimmingly.

He has started all 16 games this season. Wall is a guy, when focused, who can lift up the entire team with his jet speed and his energy on the court. But of all the other 29 teams in the National Basketball Association, one makes the most sense as a trading partner for the Wizards. He is averaging 20.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 7.9 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game in 34.8 minutes. Porter has a massive contract on the books, including three years and $81 million left. Wall is under contract through 2021-22 and Beal's deal expires the year prior.

The Detroit Pistons are one of several potential trade partners that could look to take advantage of the Wizards' disastrous situation.
