Holly Willoughby will not be replaced on I'm A Celebrity

Emily Atack Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly

As any regular 'This Morning' viewer will know, Holly Willoughby is pretty easily terrified, so quite why she signed herself up for a stint in the Australian jungle as the temporary host of 'I'm A Celebrity' is anyone's guess.

Willoughby has talked of her nerves of stepping into McPartlin's shoes, and revealed on Extra Camp that she is "relieved" her first episode of this series is over.

Thankfully, ITV's stepped in to quash the rumours, calling them "absolute rubbish", as Digital Spy reports.

I'm A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here! returns tomorrow on ITV at 9pm.

"Good morning, good evening, and welcome to Australia where the more eagle-eyed viewers among you would have already noticed a big change to this year's show, yes, one of the most gorgeous presenters on British television... has been joined by Holly Willoughby!" "We are very happy with Holly presenting alongside Dec", a spokesperson added.

On Monday, the day after Willoughby's I'm a Celebrity debut, the Sun reported that bookmaker Paddy Power was already beginning to anticipate her departure, dropping their odds from 25/1 to 16/1.

Atack replied "I would love that" and was then seen giving the sign of the cross before sitting down to pray.

The Chase star's jungle campmates tried to reassure her as they told her she'd do great.

However, few could have predicted quite how extreme her reaction (s) would be as the first Bushtucker Trial took place. So here's a thought: could we perhaps wait until she's got a little more than two shows under her belt before speculating about her exit?
