But unlike the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, which went on sale on September 21, the iPhone XR goes up for pre-order only tomorrow, October 19.

Many individuals and well-placed analysts in the tech community have been talking about Apple's 2019 iPhone lineup, but this is the first time that we know of that an analyst has stepped out into the public domain and put their beliefs and predictions on record.

The body of the iPhone XR is sealed and precision-fitted with the aerospace-grade aluminium band that helps create an enclosure that's water resistant up to 1 metre for 30 minutes. Online, the iPhone XR is listed for pre-orders on Amazon, though Flipkart is yet to list it.

Are traditional reviews still coming next week or is this as much as we'll learn before consumers get their hands on the iPhone XR next Friday?

The iPhone XR falls well below the iPhone XS and XS Max because it brings an LCD display rather than OLED.

The 6.1-inch iPhone XR starts at $749 for 64 gigabytes. As per communication by Airtel, the iPhone XR will be delivered to pre-ordering customers on October 26.

Prices for the Apple iPhone XR will begin from Rs 76,900, which will be for the base 64GB variant.

Unlike the iPhone XS and XS Max which come in Gold, Silver and Space Gray colours, the iPhone XR gets several attractive colour options that includes White, Black, Blue, Coral, Yellow and (PRODUCT) Red.

For selfies, the iPhone XR sports a 7MP selfie camera with a f/2.2 aperture along with a TrueDepth camera for FaceID. While still pricey for a phone, it's the cheapest iPhone Apple has released without a home button, allowing more space for a bigger screen. The A12 Bionic chip has a six-core fusion architecture with two performance cores that are up to 15 per cent faster, four efficiency cores that are up to 50 per cent more efficient, a four-core GPU that is up to 50 per cent faster.
