IPhone XS and its bigger sibling get pictured in leaked renders

Apple Watch 4: New rumours, release dates and everything we know so far

These images - as well as other details about the new devices - were obtained and published by Apple news site 9to5Mac on Thursday.

Apple has historically held September events to show off new iPhone models, and this year the company is expected to stay true to that course.

It's hard to say what pricing for this model may be around, though it'll no doubt be higher than what the Apple Watch 3 line now offers.

All three versions of the new iPhone are thought to have Apple's new A12 chipset and run iOS 12 out of the box.

The release date is thought to be in late September, so you won't have to wait until November to buy this year's flagship iPhone, like we did with the iPhone X a year ago. Apple will collect more than $61 billion in revenue in the September quarter, the period when the new iPhones are likely to go on sale, according to data on analysts' estimates compiled by Bloomberg. The new watch is the first redesign of the Apple Watch form factor, featuring a larger display that spans almost the entire front of the watch.

A photo of Apple's next generation "iPhone XS" models has been leaked by 9to5Mac. The company has adjusted for those changes by charging more for each phone - $1,000 for the iPhone X, for example - but is also looking to build up other product lines and its push into services such as entertainment.

Although the iPhone business is making more money than ever, the number of iPhones that Apple is selling isn't growing as fast as it did in the early days of the smartphone market. Purportedly dubbed the "iPhone XS", the phone appears in a gold finish featuring a 5.8-inch model mimicking the current iPhone X and a 6.5-inch model similar to the iPhone 8 Plus. It's rumored to come in new colors, too, but which colors those will be remains unknown.

Oh, and Apple will probably finally ship the AirPower wireless charger a year after it was announced.

The Cupertino, California firm apparently leaked images of its upcoming iPhone and Apple Watch refreshes.
