Cam Newton, Kelvin Benjamin Have Confrontation Before Game

Cam Newton and Kelvin Benjamin addressed their feud in what seems to be the most awkward manner possible. "If you would've put me with any other quarterback, let's be real, you know what I'm saying?"

Last week, Buffalo Bills receiver - and former Carolina Panthers first-round pick - Kelvin Benjamin spoke to The Athletic's Tim Graham, telling him that Cam Newton was a detriment to his career.

Newton then motioned to Davis to leave and proceeded to follow Benjamin around while talking to him with his hands behind his back for a few moments. Anybody! Quarterbacks with knowledge, who know how to place a ball and give you a better chance to catch the ball. He also reiterated that he was "moving on" from his comments about Newton.

It wasn't clear how much love was on the table Thursday when Newton approached Benjamin on the field at New Era Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y., but the quarterback appeared to proffer a handshake that was rejected.

What a game! In a contest that had a little bit of everything, the Carolina Panthers defeated the Buffalo Bills by a 28-23 margin.

Benjamin eventually requested a trade and landed in Buffalo in the middle of last season for draft picks.

Neither will get the opportunity to hash things out since the two teams do not face each other in the upcoming season.
