Jabari Parker signs with Chicago Bulls

Jabari Parker Reportedly Would Like To Play For The Bulls (UPDATE)

"My whole neighborhood is St. Francis which I lived in for three years so its pretty much home to me and no better place to me than right off the highway and right by the lake", said Parker.
Agent Mark Bartelstein confirmed the deal Saturday, July 14, 2018, after the Bucks rescinded their qualifying offer.

The Bulls are on the verge of agreeing to a deal with free agent forward Jabari Parker, according to league sources.

The Bulls will now need to sign Parker to an offer sheet, which the Bucks will have 48 hours to match. Milwaukee resident Kelvin Rivera is a Bulls fan and excited to see Parker head to Chicago.

The second overall pick in 2014, Parker spent four seasons with the Bucks, averaging 15.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 49 percent from the field.

"Jabari is a 23-year-old player who is a natural fit with our young core, and is a proven scorer at the National Basketball Association level". The 23-year-old athlete has suffered multiple ACL tears within the last four years.

He returned from his second ACL rehab in February of this past season and averaged 12.6 points in 31 games.

"Jabari and I express our honest gratitude to Jon Horst and Bucks owners Marc Lasry, Wes Edens and Jamie Dinan for working side-by-side with us throughout the free agency period", said Mark Bartelstein, CEO, Priority Sports & Entertainment. Adding a talented player like Parker at a decent price never a bad thing, especially when having the option to have him for only one year like the Bulls do.

However, earlier this week the Bulls announced that they had renounced their rights to restricted free-agent David Nwaba, opening up the cap space and rotation spot for Parker.
