New iPhone X and iPhone SE Rumors Suggest New Apple Lineup

A leaked render of the rumoured iPhone SE 2 which hints a glass body similar to iPhone 8 but in a iPhone SE form factor

Still, more analyst forecasts are beginning to predict a decline in iPhone unit sales in Apple's fiscal year ending in September.

Originally launched in March 2016, Apple has been making its popular iPhone SE in India since past year, to cut on tariff. Strangely past reports claim that the SE2 would follow in the footsteps of older iPhone models and ditch the headphone jack entirely.

Last week, we ran a survey asking how often you use the News app on an iPhone or iPad to read Apple News (see "How to Read TidBITS in Apple News", 19 April 2018).

The iPhone 8 Product Red edition with 64GB storage will cost Rs 67,940 whereas the 128GB variant will cost Rs 81,500. Apple used that strategy to encourage iPhone users to invest in the new iPhone X, and the change in their traditional naming convention, replacing the 10 with the Roman numeral X, made it completely clear that this new iPhone was a special edition, something more than just an upgrade.

All models of Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are available for preorder on domestic e-tailer Flipkart's website.

Now some fresh renders of the Apple iphone SE 2 have appeared again to reveal a complete smartphone. But better still, it could be borrowing some pretty neat features from the iPhone X.

Has flagging iPhone sales prompted Apple to update its two-year-old budget phone iPhone SE?

The iPhone X is said to be experiencing lukewarm sales.

According to multiple reports, the iPhone SE 2 could feature a 4-inch or 4.2-inch display. But it's disappointing to see a reduction in iPhone X production. There's a physical home button up front, presumably with Touch ID embedded.

The iPhone SE 2 could sport a glass back panel like most recent iPhones, with an aluminum frame sandwiched between the display and the glass back. Both are built around an aluminium frame with glass back that lets the devices support wireless charging.

Talking about the iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition, the device features a 5.5-inch Retina HD display, Apple A11 Bionic processor, 64GB/128GB internal storage, dual 12MP sensors with telephoto and wide-angle lens, 7MP front-facing camera loaded with iOS 11.
