House panel's report looks at ties between Russia, Clinton: Rep. Nunes

House Intelligence Committee

The intelligence Committee of the us Senate found no evidence that the election campaign of the current President of the United States Donald trump during the presidential elections in 2016 had connections with the Russian Federation.

He was referring to a House Intelligence Committee report. Republicans announced the main findings last month, concluding there was no coordination between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russian Federation. A total Witch Hunt.

However, not one Democrat from the committee signed off on the report.

The investigation found that leaks were used "to sow discord in the USA presidential election", which began before Election Day.

The defendants - the Agency of Internet research - "Troll factory".

The former Chairman of the electoral headquarters of the trump, spin doctor by Paul Manafort pleaded guilty in the case of the Russian intervention in elections in 2016.

"I have no relationship with Mr. Chaika, his representatives, and institutions, other than those related to my professional functions of a lawyer", she said.

"No collusion. Which I knew anyway". The Committee also found the Trump campaign's periodic praise for and communications with Wikileaks-a hostile foreign organization-to be highly objectionable and inconsistent with USA national security interests.

The Republican House Intelligence Committee report references that infamous Trump Tower meeting in June of 2016 but says investigators "did not ultimately obtain" the information they sought.

The jab towards Special Counsel Robert Mueller raises question over whether Trump is considering firing the former Federal Bureau of Investigation director, who was appointed to investigate the president's ties to Russian Federation. In Friday's release, the committee elaborated and exonerated Trump from accusations of wrongdoing, claiming instead that it was the intelligence community and Federal Bureau of Investigation that failed to properly respond to interference in the 2016 election.

"If the accusations against Manafort are true, he should have never served as a senior official with a campaign for the USA presidency, much less campaign chairman or manager", the report said.

Within hours of the report's release, Trump, who has repeatedly denied any collusion with Russian officials, published a tweet calling for an end to the "witch-hunt" against him.

Last month, in response to the committee announcing that finding, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence said it stood by the intelligence community's findings and it will review the committee's report. But the probe did provide important public revelations.

The House Intelligence Committee never interviewed Flynn or his son because they both filed written statements announcing that they would invoke their Fifth Amendment rights in order to avoid self-incrimination as it applied to Mueller's sweeping Russian Federation investigation.

At the start of 2018, Nunes and the committee's Republican staff crafted a memo revealing details of the FBI's surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

It also said Congress should consider revising the controversial Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to include "malicious global cyber actors".

Despite this, Russia's intervention in the elections called obvious. The panel also recommended the executive branch "crack down" on leaks by conducting polygraphs.
