Ghost Recon Wildlands Outlines Plans for Next Year's Season of Free Content

Ghost Recon Wildlands Year 2 comes with four free updates, kicks off next week

Ubisoft has announced that Ghost Recon WildlandsGhost Recon Wildlands is set to get a second year of post-launch support offering a bunch of free content for both the campaign and the Ghost War PvP experience. Each of these updates will have a unique theme, and include new campaign and PvP Ghost War content as well as other tweaks and additions. These major updates will be known as "Special Operations", and Special Operations #1 drops on April 10.

There is also a new PvP update that includes the new game mode, Sabotage. We've seen Rainbow Six Siege, For Honor and The Division all continue to receive updates after release and now, Ghost Recon Wildlands will be added to the list, with the game set to receive a second year of updates.

That update, called "Special Operations 1" will deliver teammate customization, which Ubisoft called "the number one feature requested by the community". It will also contain an exclusive customization pack, four Special Ops Battle Crates, and four Ghost War Battle Crates. There will be new missions, new items, rewards, and tons more to keep gameplay fresh and Ubisoft couldn't wait to share all of the details in the video above.
