LaVar Ball pulls LiAngelo Ball out of UCLA

He's Out Of There: Ball Reportedly Pulls Son Li Angelo Out of UCLA

As LaVar Ball weighs options for his middle son, it's safe to say that a jump to the National Basketball Association shouldn't be one of them. "He's out of there".

Freshman LiAngelo Ball, 19, never played for UCLA after entering as a three-star prospect from Chino Hills High School in Southern California.

LiAngelo, the younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo, was arrested in China in November along with two other teammates for shoplifting, and as a result has been suspended indefinitely by the school since Nov. 15.

"I told my boys that one of them wasn't going to make it". "He wasn't punished this bad in China".

He even recently was on CNN, refusing to thank President Donald Trump for his involvement in releasing his son, LiAngelo Ball, from China. "So basically they're in jail here", he added.

Ball told ESPN he hasn't decided where LiAngelo will play this season. "We respect the decision he and his family have made, and we wish him all the best in the future".

"He's not transferring to another school", he told ESPN.

Though there have been signs of stardom for Lonzo Ball - he became the youngest player in National Basketball Association history to record a triple double - he has had an uneven rookie season, shooting just over 30% from the floor.

There's now at least one less place to interview LaVar Ball.

"I haven't told any of those guys,"Lavar told ESPN".

The three players are subject to review for violating the university's Student Conduct Code, which includes a section on theft. Ball has built a business (Big Baller Brand) off the family name by being outspoken and riling up controversy on a near-weekly basis over the past year-plus.

LaVar Ball said that that the plan is still for LaMelo Ball - ESPN's seventh-ranked player in the class of 2019 - to go to UCLA.
