Taylor Swift Takes 'SNL' Stage With Songs From New Album 'Reputation'

Tom Hiddleston Reaction Reputation

In the end Swift chose to go with "Ready For It?" for her opening song, the sensible choice given that this is her current single and she recently released a music video for it.

Following the November 10 release of her sixth album Reputation, Taylor Swift made her return to Studio 8H.

Swift herself saw the report thanks to her family members in the area and made sure to alert Hettiger to her approval via social media.

Just what we were hoping for!

"Friends don't try to trick you/Get you on the phone and mind-twist you", she sings, soon laughing off the idea of forgiveness later in the track.

She discusses her struggles with fame and fallouts in a lengthy letter to fans in the album booklet entitled "Here's something I've learned about people".

Sadly, Swift, did not guest star in any skits during November 11th's "Saturday Night Live", but she did share a amusing moment with "SNL" host Tiffany Haddish before taking the stage. This second performance proves that we'll keep seeing glimpses of her every so often - just maybe not as much as we'd like, and that's not a bad thing.

The first song, "Are You Ready for It?", found Swift and her four dancers/backing singers performing to a pre-recorded backing track of the song's throbbing electronic rhythm.

Sure, Taylor, we believe you.
