Shocking video shows a Miami police officer punching an unruly fan during a college game as she was being carried out of the stadium

Miami defeated Virginia Tech 28-10. She was subsequently arrested for Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and Disorderly Conduct/Breach of the peace. When he arrived, Ross found 30-year-old Bridget Freitas arguing with other fans and "using profanity".

The Miami-Dade police department is investigating a shocking video that shows the moment an officer sucker punched an unruly fan during a University of Miami football game on Saturday night.

Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said in an email to the Associated Press that the department is "gathering all of the details to gain a clear understanding of what occurred" during the altercation at Hard Rock Stadium during Miami's win Saturday over Virginia Tech.

Authorities said Farrington hid her daughter's body in the trunk of her 2013 Nissan Altima for several days. According to the report, the officers tried to calm Frietas down and move her to the stadium concourse.

With her eyes half-closed, Freitas flails with her open hand at Detective Douglas Ross, who is carrying her right leg.

The officer, who has not yet been identified, struck the suspect after being hit.

According to an arrest report, Farrington was at home with her two children on Halloween when she became upset because Tania talked back to her.

By Sunday afternoon, the video had been shared on Twitter more than 3,000 times and was posted on numerous websites. She did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
