Samsung's Galaxy Note8 Enterprise Edition extends security and support for business users

Galaxy S8 Beta Program Leaks, Oreo Update Round The Corner?

This picture should start to change after Samsung wraps up its beta and more new devices begin shipping with Android. If you own a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+, you can try the Samsung Experience 9.0 beta program.

Today Samsung announced the release the Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition in the USA, which takes the core Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and stuffs it with options that should be appealing to business owners looking for a common smartphone for all employees. You'll need to log into the Samsung+ Application and look for the beta registration option at the top. Owners of these devices in South Korea, UK, and the United States will have an opportunity to test it. Samsung Experience 9.0 goes beyond the user interface offered by Android. The update does include Android 8.0 Oreo as well.

With a lot of features coming, users are understandably anxious to get their hands on the update. Android developer blog post suggests that the Android 8.1 Oreo DP2 is scheduled to arrive some time in this month.

There's one more thing to keep in mind that the beta program is on first come first serve basis. The new beta is being made available to select customers participating in Samsung's Galaxy beta program. If you depend on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ to get through the day, you probably want to stay put on Android Nougat.

With the Galaxy Note8, end-users get a bigger Infinity Display and an improved S Pen for taking notes in Screen off memo or quickly annotating documents and photos.

If you're sick and exhausted of dealing with Android problems on your Galaxy S8 (or another device), and you've got a Galaxy S8 lying around, think about trying the Galaxy S8 Oreo beta.
