"How many Jews were killed in the Holocaust?" — Scaramucci Twitter

Scaramucci Post tweet

It posted a new poll Tuesday morning with the question "How many Jews were killed in the Holocaust?"

The Holocaust, also known as the Shoah, was a genocide that claimed the lives of two-thirds of Europe's Jews - 6 million in all.

Anthony Scaramucci has weighed in on the controversy on Twitter. The Scaramucci Post Twitter account, on the other hand, has been active since August, primarily retweeting with the hashtag #SPThoughts and running Twitter polls.

He addressed the Oxford Union on Monday night, calling President Donald Trump a "political genius" and insisting that 'he's definitely not a sociopath'.

"The intent of the poll was to highlight ignorance of the basic facts of the Holocaust", he wrote on Twitter. "What The Scaramucci Post is going to represent is a center lane". "This is the world we made and now we have to live in it". "From the right and from the left".

The tweet was apparently posted by Lance Laifer, whose Twitter profile says he runs a program called Hedge Funds vs. Malaria and Pneumonia, and who is responsible for posting Scaramucci Post's tweets. I am pained imagining that my post led anyone to believe I am giving comfort to Holocaust deniers.

This poll was put up by @lancelaifer without consulting @Scaramucci who is traveling in London. I take responsibility for it and have put systems in place to ensure something like this can not and will not happen again.

While I was out of the country my social media director posted a poll on the Holocaust, in an effort to promote Holocaust education and awareness in the wake of an offensive Halloween costume depicting Anne Frank.

Despite these lofty goals, the account's feed mostly consists of emojis, Twitter surveys - asking followers about everything from "How are you?" to whether the USA should instigate a nuclear war - and retweets of other outlet's stories asking followers for "thoughts?" on articles. I take full responsibility for it. " another tweet explained.
