Who Is The Las Vegas "Person Of Interest" Marilou Danley?

People hold hands in prayer while hiding inside the Sands Corporation plane hangar after a mass shooting in which dozens were killed at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Sunday Oct. 1 2017 in Las Vegas

The Police said gunman Stephen Paddock set up cameras inside his hotel suite and in the hallway. CBS News confirms Marilou Danley was on Philippine Airlines Flight 102. She left Australia for the U.S.in 1989, where she worked in casinos, it said.

The other sister said Danley, who arrived back in the U.S. from the Philippines on Tuesday, "didn't even know that she was going to the Philippines, until Steve said, 'Marilou, I found you a cheap ticket to the Philippines'".

Law enforcement says Paddock had stockpiled 47 guns since 1982 and bought 33 of them over the past year alone. "He never said anything to me or took any that I was aware of that I understood in any way to be a warning". The FBI met her at the airport and was taken out a back way to avoid the public eye.

"He never said anything to me or took any action that I was aware of that I understood in any way to be a warning that something awful like this was going to happen", Danley, 62, said in a statement read to reporters by her lawyer in Los Angeles, where she was being questioned.

"She didn't even know that she was going to the Philippines until Steve said Marilou I found you a cheap ticket to the Philippines", one of the sisters said.

She then moved to the United States and was married to American Geary Danley, whom she divorced in 2015.

Las Vegas shooting survivor Thomas Gunderson was shot in the leg during Sunday night's attack, but he still stood to greet the president and first lady when they visited him at the hospital. A person listed as the witness to Danley's divorce insisted to the Reno Gazette-Journal that she is not connected with Paddock's behavior. She was renamed a person of interest after authorities found Paddock had wired around $100,000 to the Philippines before the attack.

In her statement, lawyer Matt Lombard said Danley thought of the murderer as a "kind, caring, quiet man". She was sent away.

Investigators are yet to discover Paddock's motive for the shooting.

Footage released by Las Vegas Police Department shows officers trying to find Stephen Paddock as he fired shots at civilians. "No one. Except Marilou", one sister said.
