As noted by the New York Daily News, Jasmine has now been reunited with her mother, Sarah Block, who went on to Facebook to thank all supporters and friend who had been with her over a hard time and posting an image of her and her daughter.

A teenage girl from Alexandria is safe and with her family on Wednesday after going missing for about a month.

The girl's harrowing ordeal began on August 8 when a family friend asked her for help outside her home in Alexandria, Minnesota. She agreed, got in his vehicle and they drove to his home. When the two arrived at Barker's residence, authorities allege he restrained the teen with zip ties, assaulted her and threatened her with weapons.

"[Barker] tricked her by saying he would like her to come help with a family situation and Jasmine was already familiar with the other family members who do not live with him in that neighborhood", Wyffels said.

"I just want to say thank you for helping for never giving up!"

In response to a reporter's question, the police chief clarified that the girl 'was both physically assaulted and sexually assaulted'.

Specific charges against the three suspects will be determined by the Douglas County Attorney.

She managed to break free from her restraints and ran from door-to-door in search of help.

Melchert recognized Block from the missing posters he had seen all over the area and immediately called 911. They are Thomas Barker, 32, of Carlos, Minn.; Steven Powers, 20, of Mankato, Minn.; and Joshua Holby, 31, of Carlos.

Jasmine Block was located in Grant County and taken to a local hospital for minor injuries, Alexandria Police announced Tuesday (5 September). On Tuesday afternoon, the three men left Block alone while they traveled to a nearby town for lunch.

"This is an unbelievable young woman", Wyffels said.

'She's an wonderful woman with a lot of strength. On behalf of the police department, all of the emergency response people, it's an awesome story when you have something like this happen.

An investigation into her case is ongoing. Farmers in Pope, Grant and Douglas counties are asked to check their cornfields for damage from vehicles driving through them, the statement said.
