Taylor Swift makes biggest YouTube debut ever with new music video

After all of the drama a source close to Swift told the weekly: 'she felt like her personal life was spinning out of control.

The beauty of her newly released single and music video "Look What You Made Me Do" is not in the songwriting or any sort of meaningful depth.

The "Speak Now" artist has obviously upstaged Katy Perry when she chose to premiere her new music video at the time when her enemy was hosting the awarding ceremony.

And, although she's no doubt basking in its success, she still found time to thank everyone involved for keeping the details of her highly-anticipated return to music under wraps.

Instead, she "re-claimed the snake" and doesn't give a damn about the thousands of people who called her one.

She doesn't hold back with coded messages this time.

Taylor also made a dig at her long-term rival Katy - who she fell out with over backing dancers a few years ago - as she donned a short blonde wig, similar to the singer's current hairstyle, and crashed her vehicle as photographers looked on. "In the final pre-chorus, she indicates that "(the old Taylor)'s dead", implying that she is no longer planning to play the nice girl.

The first record she broke was most lyric video views in its first day. During the chorus, in which the music and power vocals are stripped away for simple drums and Swift ominously repeating, "Look what you made me do", images of ouroboros flash in a hypnotic circle on the center of the screen.

This news comes following reports that Taylor Swift plans to release her new album "Reputation" on the anniversary of the death of Kanye West's mother, Donda West. Swift wears a second snake ring on her right hand and features other snake references throughout the video. Swift then says that she "wishes to be excluded from this narrative", a reference to a tweet in the height of an argument with Kim on Twitter. The video opens with a gravestone reading "Here Lies Taylor Swift's Reputation", and an undead Taylor sings the opening lyrics.
