A new group of polls show President Trump's favorability rating has fallen below 40 percent in three key states that helped him win the White House in 2016.
Asked if Trump's conduct since taking office made them proud or embarrassed, 64 percent of voters in MI and Wisconsin and 63 percent in Pennsylvania say they have been embarrassed, according to NBC News/Marist polls.
MI was a key state that propelled Trump to the presidency, flipping the state from Democrat to Republican for the first time since 1988.
Only 36 percent of MI voters overall approve of Trump, compared to 55 percent who disapprove of the job he's done since taking office.
The New York billionaire's disapproval ratings also exceed 50 percent. Six in ten respondents in the three states also said that the world standing of the US has suffered under Trump.
