Taylor Swift Tweets Cryptic Snake Video After Social Media Blackout

Taylor Swift Sends Fans into Frenzy After Wiping Out All Social Media Account

She returned on Monday, August 21, to share a mysterious, captionless 10-second video, which featured what appeared to be a slithering snake.

The fact that Taylor chose a snake as her first teaser hasn't gone unnoticed, either. We might have our answer by the week's end, when Swift's next single is reportedly dropping. Swift's former friend Katy Perry is set to host and perform at the star-studded ceremony on Sunday, August 27. Swift, who is originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, even deleted any default profile photos from the accounts.

Other possible clues pointed out by fans online regarding new music include Swift's Vevo lists 77 songs with only 73 visible, and her page says there are 141 videos yet only 140 are available. Fans have been tweeting that they don't know what to believe and maybe she will launch a new song soon.

It's the first time Taylor has uploaded anything to Instagram in months, and the first post since wiping her social media accounts clean.

The "Style" singer shared a totally cryptic video of what appeared be a scaly, reptilian tail curling hypnotically against a black background.

Further fanning the flames was a tweet by music video director Joseph Kahn, who helmed Taylor's "Bad Blood" video.

"She's aiming to release an album this fall", a source said.

Swift shot back that she hadn't cleared the use of the word "b**ch", and said she didn't appreciate being branded a liar. Putting snake along with her timeline was the way to showcase her two-faced outcry towards the controversy.

The "snake" label has been with Swift since at least past year, following an acrimonious breakup with former boyfriend Calvin Harris and an infamous feud with Kanye West and the Kardashian clan, who outed Swift's two-faced outcry over a controversial lyric about her in Kanye's Famous.
