'Pokemon GO': Legengary returning until August 31, Mewtwo coming soon via raids

The Pikachu Carnival parade

Another report by Gamespot revealed how Mewtwo was first released via the Pokemon Go Stadium event that took place in Japan, where players were awarded 52 premiere Pokeballs if they took down Mewtwo, The Verge reported. Don't worry, Niantic has got your back.

Mewtwo is the first of the Exclusive Raid Bosses, as more bosses will be added in the coming weeks. And why are the Legendary Birds still in the game - not like we previously discussed!?

But how does one get invited to such Raid? These will "periodically appear" at Gyms and play out like the Raids that are already available, except you'll now need an invitation in order to take part. Aside from Mewtwo, players should also look forward to the addition of other awesome new Pokemon from Raid Eggs.

Another iconic legendary is joining Pokémon GO.

It wasn't too long ago that Niantic introduced a new mechanic to Pokemon GO in the form of Raid Battles. Of course, if players know what they are doing and go in well prepared, they might be able to catch him with a right team and selection of counters.

Of course, players can increase their chances a bit by using Golden Razz Berries so it is a good idea to have a decent stock of them before attempting the raid. Getting Mewtwo into the hands of fans as soon as possible may be a great way to change fans' minds.

But for those Pokemon trainers that've dropped hundreds of dollars on the game assuming they'd see Mewtwo pop up in Times Square before anywhere else in the world - I see you. However, that trick only works if Pokemon Go pre-determines how many people in a Raid Group will successfully catch a Raid Boss, which isn't how the game works.
