PTI workers express excitement in Peshawar over Supreme Court's verdict announced on Friday

To celebrate Supreme Court's verdict in Panama Papers Case, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday will be commemorating Thanksgiving Day by holding a public meeting in Islamabad.

He warned PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari and said, "Next is your turn, we will set out against corruption".

Political uncertainty in Pakistan triggered by the ouster of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be advantageous to its military which may now back terrorism against India more aggressively, foreign policy experts said today.

The PTI chief is accompanied by party leaders, including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jahangir Tareen, and Asad Umar, along with Awami Muslim League's chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, who are also expected to address the thousands of PTI supporters gathered at the ground. "People can have up to Rs0.5 million for their medical treatment via health cards". Imran will be held accountable for all wrongdoings.

Hailing the women participants, he said they were equally involved in changing the landscape of the country and were well aware of their rights. "There will across the board accountability now", he added reminding the days of selective justice are now over.

The former deputy attorney-general has announced registering a first information report (FIR) under Section 22-A against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for lying before parliament about his assets while filing his nomination papers for the 2013 general elections.

The PTI Parliamentary Party meeting was presided over by the Chairman Imran Khan at Bani Gala in Islamabad.

The PML-N has meanwhile nominated ex-oil minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as interim prime minister.
