Teen driver's sister killed in Los Banos crash live on Instagram

Obdulia Sanchez is now in the Merced County Jail on charges of vehicular manslaughter while under the influence and DUI

The disturbing footage, reportedly streamed on Instagram and obtained by Buzzfeed and Daily Mail, allegedly shows Obdulia Sanchez, 18, driving while intoxicated while her 14-year-old sister and another teen girl are in the backseat of the auto.

The video was posted on her Instagram story before, during and after the crash.

'Jacqueline, please wake up, ' Obdulia says while trying to shake 14-year-old Jacqueline Sanchez.

"I f**king killed my sister, okay?" "I f****** killed my sister, OK?" What followed was more disturbing as Sanchez filmed her younger sister, identified as Jacqueline Sanchez, lying dead next to her.

Family members confirmed to KSFN the video was shot by the 18-year-old.

They do confirm that Friday evening Sanchez was with her 14-year-old sister, Jacqueline Sanchez, and another 14-year-old when she started to leave the roadway, over-corrected, and crashed.

Sheriff Vern Warnke of Merced County, California, said in a statement that Jacqueline had not been wearing a seatbelt when the auto crashed around 6:45 PM on Friday. As Sanchez records herself driving, the auto suddenly swerves and the footage goes blurry as the vehicle flips over. The other passenger sustained "major injuries" to her right leg, California Highway Patrol Sergeant Darin Heredia told BuzzFeed News.

Obdulia Sanchez from Stockton, south of Sacramento, was booked into Mercer County Jail on charges of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter while under the influence, KFSN reported. I don't fucking care at all.

Another young teenager was also in the vehicle and badly injured, reports ABC 30. "This is the last thing I wanted to happen to us but it just did", Sanchez says. "I'm sorry baby. I'm a hold it down....rest in peace sweetie".

The California Highway Patrol report states that the two girls were sitting in the backseat and were not wearing seatbelts.

According to her family, Jacqueline was preparing for her Quinceanera, a Hispanic tradition which celebrates a girl's 15th birthday. The video has since been deleted from social media sites, but not before being viewed and shared by numerous users.
