Saif Ali Khan headlines cast of Netflix original series 'Sacred Games'

So, the characters in the story are mostly about the different walks of life.

In a statement released by Netflix, Saif said, "Content In the digital space is taking over the existing dynamics at a rapid pace - the crown in the digital empire lies with Netflix, and it's extremely satisfying to partner and participate in the first original series from India to be showcased on Netflix".

Akshat Verma, writer of the Aamir Khan's Delhi Belly (2011), makes his directorial debut with the film.

Sacred Games, which will be produced in collaboration with Phantom Films, outlines the life of Inspector Sartaj Singh, as delves deeper into the criminal underworld in the city of Mumbai and the man at its eye, amid a crisis in his personal life.

Apart from these amusing acts the teaser has also given some glimpses of other cast members including Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Amyra Dastur and Neil Bhoopalam.

According to a source in the know of developments, the script was written specifically with Saif in mind. The actor can be seen doing some insane things in the teaser and he has no idea what he is doing. The cinematography is by Himman Dhamija while for the editing Rahul Purav is responsible. Because, the 40-second video shows Saif in a never-before-seen colourful avatar, and he looks hilarious. The gala event of Bollywood will take place this year on July 14 and July 15.

The film is all set to be released on September 8, 2017. As part of the deal, new films starring Indian superstar SRK would be exclusively available to more than 86 million members globally.
