Samsung to launch Galaxy Tab S3 Android tablet in India today

Samsung to unveil Galaxy Note 8 on Aug. 26

Samsung today brings its latest premium range tablet, Galaxy Tab S3, to India. The company's tablets in that price category, including its Galaxy J Max and Galaxy Tab A, are top selling models for it according to International Data Corp.'s (IDC) January-March quarterly tablet market tracker for India. The features that adds splendour to this tablet is its HDR video playback capabilities, which makes the scene come alive.

Korean Smartphone manufacturer Samsung's new Galaxy J7 Max is up for grabs from Tuesday (20 June) in India.

Samsung announced the new Galaxy Tab S3 at MWC earlier this year.

The Galaxy Game Pack has also been optimised for its screen, providing Game Broadcasting, power saver mode and mute games and ongoing calls mode.

When it comes to productivity, the tablet automatically attaches to Samsung's keyboard cover through pogo pins located at the bottom of the device.

Galaxy Tab S3 is powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon 820 processor (Quad Core 2.15GHz + 1.6GHz), 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory that is expandable via microSD up to 256GB and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. This time around, there's even a rumored date for Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 announcement, which should take place in NY.

The S Pen does not require any charging or pairing and boasts a fine 0.7mm tip.

The original report from the Korean publication Naver indicates the Galaxy Note 8 will likely also be unveiled at a NY event. It measures 237.3x169x6mm, and weighs 429 grams for the Wi-Fi only variant, and 434 grams for the LTE variant.

It comes with a small S Pen which gives you natural writing experience with pressure sensitivity. It also syncs message notifications. Samsung's latest large screen tablet will feature a premium design with a glass and metal build.

Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S3 uses biometric authentication for logging in, and it allows users to tether the new Tab S3 to other devices.
