While D.Va is still in the testing realm of Heroes of the Storm, her current build addresses some balance complaints that Overwatch players have lodged, arguing that D.Va's current state in Blizzard's shooter is vastly underpowered. Although, she'll have to remain stationery to attack once her mech is destroyed.

Mech Mode allows her to fight inside her mech until it is destroyed, at which point she is ejected and continues the fight in pilot mode. Down below a new trailer showcasing D.Va's move set, check it out! Most notably, D.Va's staying true to her roots as a former StarCraft pro, and has suited up in a Goliath, which features modified voice lines and abilities themed to match. Oh, and while MEKA-bound, she can also move while firing.

In terms of abilities, Boosters increases her movement speed for two seconds and deals damage to anyone she runs into. Oh, and if your an Overwatch fan make sure that you log into Heroes today, as the very cool Officer D.Va skin for Overwatch is still up for grabs. The same goes for her skins, one of which is a nifty Evangelion reference.

Channel a defensive field in the target direction for 3 seconds, reducing damage dealt by enemy Heroes inside it by 75%. Self-Destruct has no cooldown but can only be activated after building up a sufficient charge, which is generated by basic attacks and taking damage. If you're out in Pilot form, then it's easy for enemies to track you down and kill you. This gives D.Va the Unstoppable state, and it causes damage and slows nearby enemies over the course of four seconds.
