Chrome for Android updated with easier history wipe, new long press action

The report further highlights that the new feature does not work when one is in incognito mode and it seems that the low-end devices will not be able to use this feature.

It's been nearly a year since Google announced that Android apps would make their way to Chrome OS. While downloads were only previously manageable either through secondary, on-device software dedicated to downloads and through the Android system in the notifications bar, the new page will allow for both viewing and management of those downloads within Chrome itself.

"If you looked at a restaurant website and switched to the Maps app, the keyboard would offer the name of that restaurant as a suggestion to enter into the search bar", the flag's description read.

Google notes that the data copied from your browser will only be cached locally - it won't be sent to remote servers.

The code to use the tool already exists, and is being tested in Chrome Dev - an Android app that enables users to try out early experimental features in Chrome.

This information has been reported by VentureBeat and accordingly, it explains that this new feature would take data from a user's Chrome usage and then improve the experience in other apps based on that usage. Presumably "Copyless Paste" will arrive in the next few months, and it is expected to make its debut on Chrome 60 for Android. And, this time it comes in the form of the "Copyless Paste" feature that is being added to the Chrome app.

The first adjustment found in the latest update applies to how links are handled within Chrome for Android.

It will make your browser smarter.
