Darrelle Revis arraigned in Pittsburgh, will be back in court Thursday

Darrelle Revis turned himself in to authorities Friday after the star cornerback was charged with four felonies and a misdemeanor stemming from an altercation in Pittsburgh last weekend.

According to a Pittsburgh police statement and a court document, the 31-year-old Revis is also facing charges of robbery, terroristic threats, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault after the incident last Sunday at 2:43 a.m.

In 10 National Football League seasons - the first six with the Jets, one each with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Patriots, and the past two with the Jets - Revis has 29 interceptions, four forced fumbles and two sacks in 140 games (all starts).

When Revis saw he was being recorded, he allegedly grabbed the cellphone from Cousins' hand and attempted to delete the video.

Watt said he didn't know whether Revis or the man who helped him knocked out Cousins and Jarvis, telling police, "I don't know". Two men, ages 21 and 22, told police that Revis punched them amid a verbal altercation.

The two men were unconscious for approximately 10 minutes.

Cousins was treated in hospital for broken bones around his left eye. He then threw the cellphone into the street and an argument ensued with Revis, Cousins and Jarvis. Revis, who was alone, attempted to walk away from the men, but was followed, Jones said. Cousins said he then tried to retrieve his phone from Revis, but was unsuccessful, and Revis "threw his phone in the middle of E. Carson Street attempting to break it".

The multi-time All-Pro and Pro Bowl pick was spotted by a police officer doing his rounds in the South Side at around 2:30am on Monday, talking to two men. Mr. Revis was physically assaulted while at that location by a group of at least five people.

None of the accusers in the report said Revis hit anyone.

A spokesperson with the New York Jets told CNN on Thursday that the organization is aware of the incident, has spoken to Revis and would have no further comment at this time.

Revis' Pittsburgh-based attorney, Blaine Jones, has insisted that the Jets' cornerback was "not the aggressor that night".

The 31-year-old corner returned for his second season in NY last year on his second go-round with the team, playing in 15 games.
